iPhone SE 2020 battery health

Guys, if you are reading this, then read what this guy wrote "489 people out of a total iPhone universe of over 1 billion phones doesn’t indicate a significant problem". There you have it, nothing's wrong with your phones, its fine, go home.

“489 out of 1 billion” I am certain there aren’t 1 billion iPhone SE 2020 users. Why cherry-pick the statistics to make it seem small?

I understand your 2nd point, fair enough.

However, it does not address the issue SE2020 users, the rate of battery degradation is abnormal. I have used my phone properly and charged it appropriately yet the battery health is dismal. Would appreciate if the discussion was focused on this issue.

Same here! I bought my iphone SE2 10months ago and now the battery health is 90% while my past iphone battery heath never reach 90% and were kept for at least 3-4years…

I came to comment here hoping there will be some sort of action from Apple but they are nowhere to be found…

I bought iPhone SE 2020 last year in August, along with me my girlfriend also bought iphone 11 pro. We purchased it at the same store and same time. We have been using the phones since then and have always updated to the latest iOS updates. Fast forward today, hers is still at 96% and mine is at 81%. Why? both of our phones are lightly used, we don't play games just social media, youtube and calls.

Well… you did get an answer from Apple. First it was QuickTimeKirk that’s now disappeared, then some other guy and now LawrenceFinch you gives us the official line of communication. It must be a very well paid position for them to try that hard.

Guys, this is 2021......not 2012-2013 when we had to buy iPhones if we wanted the best phone. These days there are a lot of alternatives to iPhone, far better than iPhone SE in the mid range segment. I suggest if you want to stick with Apple then always buy the regular 12 or Pro models. If you want to buy a mid range phone then skip Apple and look at other alternatives coz Apple doesn't pay as much attention to its cheaper phones as it does to its flagships. Don't let yourself suffer.

There are NO Apple employees in this thread. QTK and me are users, just like you. I guess he got bored with saying the same thing over and over, and having the same questions over and over from users who didn’t read any of the thread before posting. I’m bored also, and will stop following this thread, as everything that can be said has been, 50 times over.

First of all, nobody asked you directly about this issue. You both hijacked the conversation repeating official apple guidelines. Most importantly, it was YOUR choice to repeat the same thing a thousand times. If you really are end consumers like the rest of us, then open your eyes, see what’s going on and STOP trying to convince us that this is normal! IT IS NOT! Most users in here know why they bought the SE. We know where apple is superior to the competition and noone expected the battery to last 2 full days. Battery health is pretty much **** and eventually beats the purpose of buying a budget iPhone, when we will be forced to replace the battery in two years time. We bring this issue up in the odd case that it will be addressed by Apple. And the amount of users having the same issue and complaint should tell you something by itself!

I thought I had this issue but my iphone SE 2020 is now 10 months old and it’s already on 89% and it drops like 2% in 1 months it’s really stressing me out. At this rate it will be 86% by the end of the year which doesn’t seem normal to me. AHH!! It’s really frustrating ngl

My 2020 SE has 8 months and battery health is 88%.

I like the phone but the battery... is the worst I ever had!

Gets worse every day, as the standby time is decreasing a lot.

Apple will exchange battery if it gets under 80%, before warranty timeout?

I trusted Apple and I have been using only the iPhone for several years and my problem is not the percentage displayed, but after a month of use, I feel that my se battery has dropped!

Got my SE in April or early May and my battery life is down to 97 percent now.

Four percent from perfect. Stop worrying.

I have iphone se for about a month now. My battery health was at 100% when I checked yesterday. But today it strangely went down by 2% and it is now 98%. This is just shocking.(I am not a heavy user)
