iPhone 6S not connecting to homesharing for itunes

Homesharing does not work when connecting through the music app.....any ideas why. It was ok before but now doesn’t connect.

iPhone 6s, iOS 13

Think my Mac is fine as I can share my music and video through uagh Apple TV Convinced it’s iOS and iPad OS 13.7 that is causing the issues. Might wait till 14 comes out and hope it fixes it.

mac is running High Sierra. When I followed the setup instructions and opened music and home sharing the indicator started to rotate as if the library was loading but when it got to the end the screen flickered and the app closed. So unfortunately still not working.

thank you so far for trying.

incidentally my iPad pro did the same when also running iOS 13.7. It was ok until this was installed in both devices.

Updated to IOS 14.0. Home sharing now working again between Mac and iPhone 6s
