Key wont work without option key selected

Hi,

I have today encountered an issue whereby I can only use the '2' key if I down press 'Option' at the same time on my bluetooth Apple Keyboard. I have disabled Sticky and Slow keys and also restarted and tried on a different user profile to no avail.

When I attempt to press the key for input itself I get a beep noise. All other number keys are fine. Also when I press 'Esc' it outputs 'P'.

I confirmed both of these issues on the Keryboard Viewer where when you press 2 it highlights as though control is being held down at the same time when it isn't and 'p' for when esc is being pressed. No other key reacts like this and 100% that sticky and slow keys are off. So unless I press option at the same time it is treating 2 as if it is control

I did enable Sticky Keys and appears that when I press 2 it gives the control arrow icon. So weird

Any help would be appreciated, been searching for hours now and can find nothing. The issue I have is my work VPN is Windows so the workaround using option does not work for me on that software.
