I think I’ve been hacked!

I have the iPhone 7. I think I’ve been hacked. I had a pop-up on my phone that was supposedly from Apple, saying there might be hackers on my iPhone. A week or more later, my calls stopped working. I tried downloading multiple calling apps and none of them work. So I decided maybe I should reset my phone. I reset it multiple times throughout the month, and my calls are still broken. Then my videos stopped working too! Whenever I take a video, the volume automatically gets muted and I can’t unmute it. Maybe that’s another sign? And it’s hard to film videos on tiktok too. I can’t use the greenscreen affect and I can’t duet. I’m afraid that my phone is slowly falling apart.

It's highly unlikely that you have been hacked. Unless someone had access to your phone while it was unlocked or you have jailbroken your phone, the cause of your problems is probably something else. The pop-up was a fishing scam, not anything from Apple.

When you say your calls don't work, you go on to discuss calling apps. What happens when you just use the built in phone app?

What do you mean by "reset"? Do you mean "restore"? If you haven't restored your phone from a back up, you should try that.

If that doesn't resolve your issues, try restoring the phone to factory state and testing. If you're still having issues, I guess you're having a hardware issue and you should contact Apple to have your phone evaluated.
