I updated to iOS 14 and while the new widgets are cool, the one that is missing is for the news. I was using the beta version but when I updated to full iOS 14 suddenly I can’t add news widgets; the rest are fine. Any suggestions how to get it back? I restarted, deleted the app, reinstalled etc. Already.
I fixed it with the following steps ( my screenshots are in Italian😃):
1) Select Modify on the bottom of the page Widget
2) Click on the on the “+” on the top of the page
3) Search for the News
4) Select how you want to see the widget scrolling on the left (1 news, 2 news, many news )

Yeah, me2. I’m frustrating with news widget isn’t there anymore. I tried all ur steps and others, still not showing. I’m abt to give it up!

I updated on 14.2 yesterday and the News widget is missing, I can’t find it anywhere.
Just updated to 14.2 and the news widget has disappeared completely. It was there 20 mins ago and now nonexistent. Can’t wait for 14.3 to fix this. Get to work Apple!
Hi All - im using iphone 8. On upgrading to ios 14 news widget was not updating and was showing as blank widget due to which I deleted it. Im unable to get the news widget back. Please assist
