The battery drain issue that has started from the ios 13.6 still persists in ios 14 too.
my battery is draining 4% is just 10 minutes of whatsapp usage. Camera is draining the battery like ****...just by clicking 2 pics the battery drains by 1 % every time.
is someone else facing this issue please comment.
i even factory restored the phone today after updating to ios 14 but the issue remain persistent.

Just got a new SE 2020. I downloaded the latest ios14 on it and it’s destroyed ! This thing crawls like an iPhone from 15 years ago ! I’ve switched off everything I can find that’s surplus to my needs like location services and background refresh, got rid of apps I don’t use etc but it’s still utterly sh*te ! I am literally watching the battery go down as I type this now. And as for the camera (which is great) & related apps - which was my main reason for getting this phone, I can hardly use it for more than 45 mins. I am so disappointed with this phones longevity of performance on iOS 14. Apple need to sort it out they really do, it’s just appalling.
Give it a couple of days. After an update, there is always a period of intense battery usage as the device deals with the changes.
Then turn off the motion and fitness in settings.
Settings->General->Privacy->Motion and fitness-> Turn off the Fitness Toggle.
After 14.2 and restoring my phone as new (not from backup) the issue is finally gone. I am not sure what part of that combo did the trick but I finally have normal battery life back.
