ThinkPad USB 3.0 Dock to connect mulitples screens

Hello,

I bought a ThinkPad USB 3.0 Dock (SKU:0A33971) to connect two additional screens to my MacBook Air (13-inch, 2017). It was working fine after having installed the necessary display drivers. I few problems once because of an update of the display drivers and then because I had to install the (heavy MacOs Catalina), but which were eventually all resolved by making the necessary updates.

Now it is again not working and don't know why. My dock station seems to be on (since the the indicator light is on), but I have no idea to see whether my mac recognizes it because i am new to mac ... I also don't know what to try else ...

Any idea ?

Thanks in advance for your help !

Your Mac supports only one external display, at up to 4K resolution.

Simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display and up to 3840-by-2160 resolution at 60Hz on an external display, both at millions of colors (from MacBook Air (13-inch, 2017) - Technical Specifications).

MacBook Air models from 2018 on support two external displays.

Connected to your Mac's USB port? I see.

From the DisplayLink site:

INFORMATION ABOUT MACOS 10.15

Some users updating to 10.15 have found their DisplayLink devices have stopped working. 5.2 software is designed to run on Mac OS 10.15, but the OS can disable our kernel extension during the update. Please check the kernel extension is enabled and screen recording is also enabled, to ensure DisplayLink enabled devices continue to work when migrating to 10.15.
