iPhone keeps freezing after iOS 14 update

I had the same issue the morning after I updated. By the evening, all worked fine. Every once in a while something freezes but, hopefully, that will be addressed in the next update.

I have had to restart my iPhone 11 Pro couple of times in over a week. So far so good - I guess older Apps were causing the hiccup.

I restarted my phone couple of times and it’s OK now.

iOS 14, 11 Pro Max here. It's freezing on lock screen, camera, messenger. Virtually all apps. Restarts appear to work for short periods of time.

Yes- I think that is what is causing everyone a problem.

Also, I did notice that it often happened in safari when I zoomed in/out (using my fingers, which I’ve always done).

in gmail, it happened while editing a draft email.

Hi! I have updated my Phone with 14.0.1 yesterday and didn’t face the same issue for last 24 years. Give it a try! I hope your issue resolves as well. :)

So far iOS 14.2 beta 1 - still about 7 betas left = about 7 weeks :/

If OUR iPhones with DEAD FaceID (after iOS 14 update) will not be fixed in iOS 14.0.2 it means we are screwed up :/

My 11 ProMax has been freezing screens off and on for days after the update. With as much money as these things cost, this shouldn’t be happening.

I have the iOS 14 and my iPhone 11 first froze when I got it, not letting me turn it on or off or clicking any apps. now about a month later after getting it fixed it's doing the same thing.

really? same problems on iphone 12 ? do you experienced frozen and unresponsive screen?
