Tell Apple here:

Feedback - iPhone - Apple

Be specific about what you like and what you don't; if you just say it's "horrible" or a "nightmare" that's not constructive and so nothing can be done with that.

Say what you would like it to look like or how you want it to operate.

No one here can do anything about it.

I have written on their suggestions page to at least give us the option to revert.

Why give us the ‘excellent’ scroll idea 10yrs ago... A real first, and now make it fiddly to use, that’s bad design and bad ‘management direction’.

I thought Apple was about function and form, simple intuitive software that doesn’t need a manual...?

Oh how that has changed, dongles on MacBooks... just to keep aesthetics looking pretty, silly lightening ports that fill with fluff, just to ‘not’ use usb and now usb ‘c’. And now wireless only headphones/charging... just to look ‘Uber’. And don’t even mention trying to move media from an iPhone to a PC...!

it’s about time Apple put customers first and realised that these points I just mentioned make life difficult for users, it’s damaging to brand Apple.

Who wants to be the richest in the world if your product isn’t as good as it was 10yrs ago...?

Its time they listened to their customers, gave them some kudos and dropped the ego thing.

I agree. Unfortunately it is the way of such bulletin boards and other Internet interactions. Probably the best we can do is model decent behaviors and hope that some will catch on. I just hope that none of those sharp-fingered responders are teachers who behave like that toward students.

Saying snarky things about people is hardly what I would call modeling "decent behavior".

I find some of the responses on this discussion to be rather abrupt and rude. Not everyone is a tech expert and people simply want some advice.

What’s rude is joining an ongoing discussion without reading its history first so you don’t ask what has already been answered, or repeat answers that have already been posted.

I agree this calendar app update is terrible. I never take the time to review an app but I’m making an exception. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve entered an appointment wrong since the update. I’ve relied on the calendar app for so long but now I have to write my appointments down with a pen and paper...what is this?! 1995? It’s impossible to pull up one day at a time, to see only appointments for that day. It’s not intuitive when making several appointments at once. Ugh so annoying.

I agree with the others who are frustrated with the 14.2 calendar updates. I would like to know how to go back to the earlier version. It was much more intuitive and quicker to see my calendar at a glance. I now have to scroll to see my day at a glance. When scheduling someone that is too time consuming. Please update this so we have option to go back to earlier version.

Thank you

I agree. It’s the awkwardness of all the movement around the screen:

I add an appointment

Tap on the date

The first thing below my thumb is the time

I move BELOW that to select the date

I move back UP to select the time

This opens the keyboard which is down BELOW the date

Type in the time on the keyboard

Go back UP above the dates to select AM or PM

Carefully use my thumb to scroll the calendar up (without selecting another date by accident)

Tap in the end time BELOW the calendar

Tap in the time field which is now UP above the dates

Tap back DOWN in the keyboard to enter the time

Tap UP in the date field to select AM or PM.

This is crazy.
