Tell Apple here:
Be specific about what you like and what you don't; if you just say it's "horrible" or a "nightmare" that's not constructive and so nothing can be done with that.
Say what you would like it to look like or how you want it to operate.
No one here can do anything about it.
I agree that this particular feature of the calendar that you are mentioning is fantastic- However it's the initial format when you're glancing at the day/week it all runs together like a grocery list with very little distinction between the events for one day to the next. I have to concentrate to see what's on for say Monday and if I need to see what I have on Thursday I have to REALLY LOOK! It's just not easy on the eyes which has always been what made apple pleasing.

they don’t even list the calendar app under iOS apps on their feedback page. Why not? had to leave my feedback under the iPhone section.
The Calendar app is part of iOS so you put your feedback in the correct place.
I agree that the new calendar time entry method is terrible. I have a 90 year old neighbor with an iPhone and I can't even teach him how to do it the new way. He just doesn't understand. It needs to be changed back to the way it was before. I'm going to advise my friends with iPhones to NOT do the latest update.
I cannot use this calendar it is terrible and it is so unintuitive and I am constantly inputting information and it ends up on a different day than its supppsed to and the wrong time (am/pm)
Is there anyway to change this back? I really at this point I’m ready to go to an android. You can just screw with people for so long
So why are you here? .😂
This is a moaners page! (I'm one of them) - I think it's fine for people using large font - but I'm on the smallest it will go and my thumb is too big to select the hours and minutes accurately.

I am no longer using the calendar app (hear that Apple? You drove me away from your application) and am now using Fantastical a 3rd party app.
1) Apple isn't reading here for suggestions. 2) Apple would probably be just as happy for you to use Fantastical. They get a cut of the sale.
In my opinion, Fantastical used to be better than it is now. And, the whole subscription thing is annoying.
Since they reply to people I’m assuming they are reading and logging. And since your snarky comment really doesn’t deserve a response but it’s Christmas I’m gonna let you know today I bought a Google pixel
I’m here for the same reason probably that you are. I had a terrific phone that I purchased with a certain set of criteria and they’ve changed it on me so it’s a valid reason and that’s why they have a discussion board thank God Apple reads this and I don’t have to deal with the court of public opinion of people who are literally complaining about every other thing on the planet on Apple LOL it’s kind of incredible throw stones at glass houses moment isn’t it?
I’m sure it’s because I’m getting old, but getting accustomed to doing things one way and then being forced to do it a different way is infuriating. It’s like having to do math from now on the way they’re teaching kids nowadays. I wish there was an option to keep things in a “classic” format. The different way of entering dates isn’t the end of the world, but the new style of displaying upcoming events isn’t registering with me, they switched the bold text or the layout and sadly it’s confusing. But then again I wish I still had my old PowerMac G3 with its speedy Appleworks word processor and the ability to do a “clean system reinstall “. Now I’m stuck with a bloated hairball operating system that’s slower. That’s progress for you..

Unfortunately, the world isn't going to stop changing. However, there is some evidence that learning new things helps stave off dementia.
That didn’t answer the question. What Carla (and 750 others of us) is asking is to revert to the previous format, since this new version has a horribly non-intuitive interface for setting events.
The previous version with the scroll dials for setting date and time was much more graphical and intuitive.
I haven’t spoken to a single user who doesn’t hate this new version. Yep, we hate it.
It’s much too easy to set the wrong date and time.
There are roughly 500 million users who have upgraded to iOS 14. Do you see 500 million complaints about the calendar format? I would conclude that 499,999,200 of them either like it or don’t care either way.
When there is major disagreement with an Apple policy, app change or real problem users are not shy. So the fact that there are so few complaints means this is not a major issue for most users.
Actually it was 2, with Idris, so I thought that I would make it 3 and check-in here. I found the scrolling uncomfortable and time consuming. The ability to type in the exact time for appointments is very nice. And, since I use 24 hour time, I don't have to worry about AM or PM either. If I want an appointment at 6:15PM, I just type in 1815 and I'm done. Very easy.
Well, on the Apple help page by the way directs me to a link here to provide feedback so maybe you should direct Apple in more helpful ways to correctly speak to its millions of unhappy users since you seem to be one of the handful of people who like it software updates.

Please allow us to revert to the old version of adding appointments. Siri is not the answer when you are on a call and trying to add an appointment. The new format is way too cumbersome and silly. Please, please change it or people are going to switch to other calendar apps...maybe that’s what you’re going for?
