Tell Apple here:
Be specific about what you like and what you don't; if you just say it's "horrible" or a "nightmare" that's not constructive and so nothing can be done with that.
Say what you would like it to look like or how you want it to operate.
No one here can do anything about it.

Totally agree! Well said!
Apple is not reading here for suggestions. Use the feedback page to let them know your thoughts:

I miss not being able to quickly see when I have free appointments. I really hate this update.
Did you tell Apple?
Let Apple know. We can’t do anything about it.
You can’t revert to the old version and you’re not talking to Apple. Find My works just fine for me and everyone that I know. Nothing broken that I have seen.
That has been answered many times already. You can’t revert to the old format.
There’s no way to revert back.
I have just discovered that if you turn the phone sideways you get a different view which is a bit better. But still don’t understand why they changed it.
No. Read the entire thread for additional information.
The definite answer is NO.
You can complain here if you like:
No one here can do anything about it, and personally I like the new format.
Yes, this design update for the calendar/date update is an epic fail. Completely confusing. I can’t even figure out how to change the actual day. Don’t force me to read a support article to figure that out. That in of itself is a complete admission of how poorly designed this is.
I can’t imagine what was on Apple’s mind when re-designing the Calendar app. This app plays a very important role in my life as a self-employed person and I’m totally frustrated with the poor layout, navigation, absence of visual breaks between days, no day names to accompany dates. It’s HORRIBLE. I’m making appointments on the wrong days, never certain whether I am entering a start time or end time. This list is not exhaustive. Please please revert to the previous version!!!
I agree. I don’t know how someone’s bad idea ended up on the newest update! I almost missed an appointment yesterday. I tried to figure out how to go back to the previous update and cancel this one out, but couldn’t. I even checked my latest software update to see if a new update might have come to fix this. I’m pretty sure this isn’t working well for anyone.

While people are still using it the fact remains that the functionality is absolutely a fail
My point is that it's not. Hyperbole is rarely helpful in a technical support forum. Some people don't like it Some people do. Most people probably don't care. Assuming that, because you don't like it, it's intrinsically bad or that everyone must hate it as much as you would be incorrect.
Tell Apple what you think as they are the only ones who can change it.

The product feedback site/page does not permit feedback on iOS Calendar as this app is not displayed on the Feedback page. I may be missing something, but I cannot see this app listed in the iOS and iPadOS section of the Feedback page.
Just leave feedback under the iPhone section.
