I updated my phone to ios 14 yesterday but after that when im using CarPlay Audio usually 2-3 minutes into a song or by the second song, I start getting crackling sounds. please help

Took my Skoda Fabia into the dealership today for another issue and asked them to update the firmware of the head unit and it resolved the issue. Skoda know and there is a TPI out so it’s covered by warranty.
Anyone who tells you to change cables or changing anything on your phone is a moron. It has nothing to do with your phone but with your head unit.
head unit software version is now 8755. It works. Finally.

This is clearly a bug that deserves appropriate attention. CarPlay is unusable since the software update. The issue is most noticeable on phone calls which become unintelligible. Please address ASAP
Same here. Reset, re-add everything everywhere. Limit data throughput turned off on carplay wifi but nothing..
ios 14 and the new carplay are crap with all these issues :(
Also having the same issue. Replaced my cable, had Chevrolet update the radio and reset my phone. Apple please look into this issue. Currently occurring on my 2017 Chevrolet Volt.

Yep, problem still persist, I’m only using Bluetooth to use the car stereo
Same issue here since ios14 (Iphone11) and still with latest update ios14.1, which is a massive bug (this should be even an A ticket)!
Please escalate and fix it ASAP.

14.2 is having the same issue the carplay isn’t usable anymore . they have to fix this quickly

apple CarPlay is the issue here, my music sounds good via bluetooth but it crackles and distorts using apple CarPlay. This was never an Issue before.
