Ok, as I wrote earlier it happened again with zoom this time, but as i had to go to the applestore anyway, (my iphone speaker had a major problem) i asked the technician what he thought it might be. Listening to my description he thinks its a software bug. The only explanation he has (as it only touches us - meaning a handfull of people) is that it would be a time setting problem. ATTENTION: he did not say IT IS but he said it could be!!!... And it would only appear if a certain number of circumstances come together..
When he looked at my settings, and ran the diagnosis program, it said: wrong timezone! (but only in diagnose mode - whatever that is)
As a matter of fact i could not set the timezone on automatic, because my location services are disabled (i do not want them)
as i set the clock manually, it could be (i said could) that i am a few seconds early or late compared to the network timestamp.. and so when it first shows the caller id, it would take the one that is closer to the networktime so that could be the last one that i spoke with.
What i am going to try... is set the time to automatic, activate the location services so it can set the timezone automatically, reboot the iphone and see what happens..
He also told me that there is a major apple event in the next days, and usually shortly after, they release a new version. So he suggested to also wait for that release.
If nothing works he told me to do a factory reset, to then reinstall the ios with itunes and NOT to use the total backup., but just the contacts from icloud. all the rest would have to be freshly installed. (because the backup could reinstall the bug)
So that's my 10 cents.
I will definetely wait for the update.
