Why is 1TB of storage being used for health app?

Hi, I was having trouble downloading apps to my watch from the phone app, but this seems to have sorted itself now. I haven't had any other troubles downloading apps.

My workouts are intermittent from my Apple Watch to the activity app., very hit and miss at the moment. The sooner a fix is sorted the better

Did the engineer ever reach out to resolve this issue?

Someone had said to do an unencrypted back up to your computer because the health app will not be backed up if it is unencrypted. But then, you will lose the health data.

That’s exactly the initial advice I had (unpair and we-pair), that must be on the ‘script’ that they have. When that didn’t work then they escalated it, but still not resolved

Interestingly I can do a backup to iCloud and Mac

Exactly, it does not let me back-up Petabytes of data to my poor 500 GB hard disk.

Apple please release a fix ASAP

I already wrote it there, I am just trying to write it everywhere,, so maybe somebody at Apple sees it ( I believe they very rarely read these)

I could actually upgrade to IOS 14.0.1 from 14.0. So I think the update somehow works, just like I can download apps. The issue is with 3rd party apps and backups
