iPhone keyboard lag iOS 14
since I updated my phone the keyboard had a slight lag.

Had ios 14.1 for at least a week and the lag is still there. Idk if it’s device specific. Using iPhone XR

Open the Settings app, go to General, and then Reset, which is at the bottom of the General screen. Then go to Reset Keyboard Dictionary, which is also at the bottom of the screen. Tap that and you'll be asked to enter your passcode. Note that this will delete any and all custom words you have entered on your keyboard

So far so good on the new update!.
Word of caution it's a pain to setup if you haven't yet setup 2 factor authentication.

Was fixed for like a day after the update and right back to the lag. This **** is getting annoying. When is Amazon coming out with a phone!
For now it immediately got rid of the lag in messages. I will see if it comes back

Has there been any updates or awareness to this? My husband and I just got iPhone 12’s and the keyboard lag is severeeeee.

Yeah I’ve done that. Still happens because a hard reset temp fixes it. It’s def placebo.
This worked. It says you lose all your saved words from the dictionary but I didn’t lose certain short forms I often use so not inconvenient for me.
