iPhone keyboard lag iOS 14
since I updated my phone the keyboard had a slight lag.

Same lmao. If only apple would fix their garbage os updates, it would be a fine phone.

Open the Settings app, go to General, and then Reset, which is at the bottom of the General screen. Then go to Reset Keyboard Dictionary, which is also at the bottom of the screen. Tap that and you'll be asked to enter your passcode. Note that this will delete any and all custom words you have entered on your keyboard

So funny, bc they had me reset my new iPhone 12, and it took me days to get it back to they way I had it.

fixed mine by turning off everything in settings general keyboard. they screwed up one of the features there and it's coupled to a latent system likely.
I did the same. It still occurred. So it’s not this. It legit has something to do with iMessage and the keyboard.
Keyboard lag is beyond horrid, in messages, and notes, absolutely horrid, sometimes 5 seconds will pass before it even enters.
Weird. I’ve turned it off and it still did it. I’m on 14.3 beta now seeing if it’s fixed.
Maybe some people in here have never used this platform. Get off your high horse and relax. You’re not the too many posts police.
Hasn’t happened once in any of the apps- messages, notes, WhatsApp, etc. since updating to 14.2 a couple days ago. Not sure if it was fixed. I’ll keep an eye out for it.
