iPhone keyboard lag iOS 14
since I updated my phone the keyboard had a slight lag.

Happen multiple times a day, very annoying.
I've tried:
- rebooting
- resetting the dictionary

Open the Settings app, go to General, and then Reset, which is at the bottom of the General screen. Then go to Reset Keyboard Dictionary, which is also at the bottom of the screen. Tap that and you'll be asked to enter your passcode. Note that this will delete any and all custom words you have entered on your keyboard

Apparently, this has been a discussed and known issue since the beta release of iOS 14, according to a Reddit thread. How it ever got through to final release is beyond me.
**** seriosuly? i did the update to 14.0.1 and haven’t noticed it yet in a day, was hoping it was fixed..ill be furious if it happens now that you said that lol
One would think so. But I’m on beta 14.2 and the problem still persist.
A couple days ago I reset the phone and set up as a new phone (not restoring from backup) and so far things appear to be running smoothly. Not the preferred solution but so far things seem better.
Doesn’t matter. Apple hasn’t fixed it since the beta despite plenty of “me too” requests.
I did not have this issue until the 14.0.1 update now it’s lags anytime I use the keyboard
After updating to iOS 14 my keyboard started to lag and delay my typing it’s really annoying pls fix it
This didn't work. Got it back. Able to reproduce it in iMessage when I have a thread where I've sent pics or am sending pics.

Until Apple resolves... please go to General>Reset>Reset Keyboard Dictionary.
many of you should find significant luck here. After a bit, you may find that you need to run this again.

This is happening on IOS14.2 also. Using iPhone 12 currently.
