Has anyone else had this issue? I upgraded to IOS 14 now I have to use speaker to hear my
phone calls due to the headsets volume being so low. Side note— I have not dropped or spilled anything on my phone.

There are new features in iOS 14 to prevent hearing damage and this affects headphones and Bluetooth peripherals (possibly phone speaker as well).
Go to Settings > Sounds and Haptics > Headphone Safety
You can adjust the maximum volume or disable he protection entirely. Be aware, this may lead to hearing loss over time, which is why the feature was introduced.
My iPhone 11 after altering all options of headphone safety, still will not stop reducing the volume of my music or anything inside my headphones. I’ve changed all settings several times under haptics & privacy to allow/ not allow
I tried the fix on my 7SE for increasing the ear piece audio by turning off "Reduce Loud Sounds"/ This did not work. Audio is still to low to hear caller. Must use speaker phone. The previous bios had a sound adjustment slider which worked just fine. Is there going to be an upgrade bios to fix this issue?
Yes I have the same problem with my 8 plus. I also have low mic quality with IOS14. People said that they cant hear me clearly anymore, like my voice comes from a cave. I have two more IPhones (6s and SE 1st) and they work well.
All software is up to date. Still have the same issue.
Just checked, carrier settings are up to date. This doesn’t effect all of my calls either.

After ios 14.0.1 upgrade i could see phone volume become low and could not able to hear B side. Please resolve this issue at earliest. I am using Iphone 11

I have updated my iPhone with the latest update and the earpiece volume is very low???
i have been in to Apple and they said it must be a faulty phone... erm no..my phone worked perfect before the update!! It’s a scam to buy a new product, I’m sure!!
Same issue ever since the new update low ear volume on calls have to put on speaker now
