iOS 14 Bug Report: Cannot select email Alias in iOS 14

I haven't tried yet, but others are reporting that it works again now. Perhaps you need to delete and re-add your aliases (most people removed as a work around to avoid accidents). Maybe it works if you re-add but not for your existing (that's only a guess).

I have this bug as well. Tried to switch mail to gmail but to no avail. One of our iPads has not been updated and the aliases work fine. I will delay updating that iPad to IOS 14 until this bug is fixed

I am observing the same class of problem. I am using Yahoo mail and have multiple sender addresses associated with that account. The address that I select is not the address that is used (this problem just started for me yesterday).

I deleted my address except for one and then it was correct. I then re-added on of the send only addresses. Now if I select address A, it is sent from B and if I select address B it is sent from A. :-(

For some reason, I cannot mark more answers as helpful.

But, we seem to see the same problem with Yahoo, Google and Apple's own iCloud mail. Therefore, it is more likely to be an iOS bug (probably in the Mail app, but maybe at system level). I did chat with Yahoo and they don't think it is there problem, and seems unlikely given the above.

I too reported the bug, but is there anything else to do to bring to Apple's attention?

Try updating to iOS 14.0.1 and then check again.

By chance, are the rest of you using Yahoo Mail or something else?

Updating to 14.0.1 had no effect.

I am using gmail account and I agree problem is still there with 14.0.1.

Do Apple look at this discussion as a bug report or does it need to be reported somewhere else.
