I recently updated my IOS to Catalina. I opened an Excel file and worked on it not realizing I was working on Numbers. Now I need to share this file with someone who ony has Excel. What can I do to convert my Numbers file to Excel? Thanks.

File/Export to/Excel

If it all imported into Numbers without any unsupported formulas, it should export back to Excel without any unsupported formulas. In other words, it should be fine. It probably won't be exactly the same as it started, though, because of the different structure of monolithic Excel worksheets vs Numbers Sheets and Tables. Things may be in different places and using Numbers' naming conventions.
