How do I fix this issue, my best photos ended up blank and had this error
iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 14
I just upgraded my phone to the 12 pro max today and everything went perfectly except for the fact i can’t see any of my pictures because it says it had an error trying to load the highest quality version of the picture? now i can’t use any of these pictures i just took took. how do i fix this?? i went from an iphone 11 pro max to the 12 pro max so why is this happening??
I’m on14.2.1 having this issue with some videos (not exclusive to videos that have been edited). Turning off ‘View Full HDR’ under ‘Settings > Photos’ resolved the issue for me.
You guys are about to love me for this. Basically all you need to do is lock your phone and connect it to power. Apple showed me this message. I’m attaching a picture of the message below.
For me, I’m not using iCloud and the problem only occurs on videos I downloaded from another apps. Such as: 9gag.
I tried all those suggestions and still doesn’t work. Please help apple!!
New 14.2 update fixed the problem for me. Good luck.
Did you click the “back up now” on your old phone or the new one to get your pictures back?
The new phone
I also have this! But I’ve watched my videos a number of times, it’s been kept on my iPhone 11. Just today I went to watch it and it says the error.
I am already on iOS 14.2.1 and just noticed this issue on some of my Live Photos. I tried the back up now solution with no luck, also turning off View Full HDR and still nothing.
I ended up deleting my iPhone and restoring from iCloud backup. That worked but is a pain to have to do, so I hope Apple fixes this issue soon.
Simple Restart fixes the issue!
A simple restart also worked for me on my iPhone 11 with the latest update. Thanks to the last responder for the suggestion! I must remember to try that first when I encounter an issue.
Yes I just upgraded to the 12 Pro Max from my iPhone 7 and can not get the error to resolve.
Where is the picture?
I’ve already restarted my phone multiple times and have tried to just shut it down for a few moments then start it back up. This did not fix my issue.
I have the same problem. Only in my phone not using iCloud.
