My iPhone has started to turn down my sound to "protect my hearing". How to turn it off?
If there isn't a way make the way, because I'm not going to get another a separate device to just listen to music? Why was this even implemented? Do I really need to buy a new phone?

Same issue here - incredibly irritating as Iām a) quite deaf and b) a professional musician currently using my phone as a recording booth...
I may have found a solution - itās actually to turn āreduce loud soundsā ON and set the decibel level to maximum (100db - which is still less than a french horn at full tilt 18 inches from my right ear. No I canāt move - itās the one Iām playing!)
I wish Apple would stop trying to be a nanny and allow us to make our own decisions about stuff like this.

the only thing i found to work is yiu have to go to blue tooth, choose device, hit info and change to speaker or car audio
