you must reset your end to end encrypted data to sign in to iCloud


Why is this happening, recently upgraded Macbook 2015 and now cant log into my app store also: you must reset your end to end encrypted data to sign in to icloud, I have logged into all apps, signed out and signed in cant seem to get a resolution?

Before upgrading to Mac OS catalina were you using secondary authentication in which three answers for security questions , date of birth , rescue mail address and its password were used , while upgrading Mac OS an option would have appeared would you like to update with 2FA , now or later you clicked on later and that's the reason the pop that is showing states that account is insecure .

Now , What to do in your screen shot click on cancel and post the new screen shot hide your mail address / personal data before posting.

To begin, we'd suggest providing some more detail on what is happening when you try to sign in to the App Store. Are you unable to access the settings to select the sign in option? Are you able to enter your details but then get some sort of error? Etc.


Answers to questions like these will help give the community a better understanding so members can provide more thorough responses.


Same thing with iCloud. What is happening when you try to sign in there? Are you getting an error? We see you posted an image of the iCloud sign in page, are you having a problem with that sign in message? What is happening when you press the Continue button to proceed with signing in on the message?

After upgrading the OS on my macbook 2015 to OS catalina version10.15.7, I now cant access or log into the app store, the screen appears blank see image below.


When I try to login to any services or apps it simply asks me to reset end to end encryption.


Does any of this make sense, it seems to be from updating the OS system which has caused the problems...
