iPhone 12 Pro Charging Issues With MagSafe.

I have the same problem , i contacted apple support team but they have no idea about this issue

I have had to do this several times to get it start charging. Apple not much help.

Start charging but it’s very slowly 20 mins gives me 5 percentage !!!! Is it normal ?

Which settings could be impacting these issues though? My magsafe won’t go above 3-4w. I have a feeling the magnets are interfering with how much watts the phones are receiving.

My iPhone 12 is taking 5 hours to fully charge using the MagSafe.

I have the same issue too. My iphone 12 no respond in MagSafe wireless charging ..

I'm having issues too. The MagSafe case is interfering with Siri in the car and also if I use the MagSafe charging then I can't later use traditional charging.

I agree and I'm using a min charger of 30w. Does hold my phone nice in my car though.

I have the same issue with iPhone 12 mini.

Same issues with my iPhone 12 Pro Mac and my wife's iPhone 12.

The only way to get this fixed is by resetting the Settings. You can do that by going to “Settings —> General —> Reset —> Reset All Settings”

Please note, you will loose all your WiFi Passwords, Apple Wallet, Location Preferences, Notifications settings etc.,

If you want to restore those, you have to reset the phone completely including the content and setup from backup again.

I was having the same issue with not only the problem with MagSafe but other wireless chargers on my iPhone 12 Pro quit working after about a day.

I finally got ahold the a senior adviser and he had me do a complete backup on my computer and iCloud (his preference).

I then erased iPhone and restored from backup. No problems so far!

Nope. I ended up resetting the phone after it totally crapped out (no one could hear me) and now I don't use the MagSafe at all.

This is happening to me too, if I use the phone for anything other than making calls or txting while charging it.

i hope they make the next gen mag charger more powerful.
