iPhone 12 Pro Wireless Charging Issues

I picked up the iPhone 12 Pro yesterday, and I can't get wireless charging to work properly. I have two Qi charging pads, both from different manufactures, and the 12 pro will only charge from them if it's been freshly rebooted. If I take the phone off the pad, and then place it back on the pad, it will not charge again unless I reboot the phone. The pads charge my Xs and my Galaxy S9, so they're not the problem. Anybody else having issues with wireless charging on the 12 pro?

I love it when someone who recently joined the forum with 4 points, tells someone who has been on the forum for over a decade and knows the forum managers personally, what Apple does or doesn't do here.

You are wrong. The people you hope are reading your posts are NOT here. If you want to tell Apple your thoughts where it will be heard you should do one or more of the following:

Provide feedback via this link --> Feedback - iPhone - Apple
Call Apple
Use the Contact Support button at the top of this page
Schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and show them the issue you're having

Otherwise, it is you who is wrong about Apple paying attention here.

Same issue here. 2 different Mophie chargers and a Mag Safe charger. Had to restart to get it to work again.

Mine is having the similar issues. It will say it’s charging, but it takes forrrrrrevvvvver to get even a couple percent. I sure wish I kept the box to the mag safe. Now I can’t return it. 😩

I experienced the same problem on my iPhone 12 Pro. Been on chat and phone with apple support yesterday and today, total time 1hr 29min. They finally agreed to send me a replacement phone.

Wireless charging works for a few seconds, then stops. Tried on both my Qi certified chargers - same problem. In comparison, these chargers have no problem charging my iPhone 11.

I’m having the same problem with my 12pro & my wife’s 12 .. neither will charge on our cars wireless charging pads they connected & after a few seconds it disconnects

id definitely be glad to know too. I’m headed to Verizon tomorrow to switch out my phone. I hope I don’t get another phone with the exact same issue.

I went to the Genius Bar today. They reset my network settings, saying that the reset reloads the firmware on the phone. Now all of my wireless chargers work. I'll update if anything changes.

I’m just curious. Is it strictly a charging issue ? Once it’s charged, does the battery hold a charge as expected?
