The magnet works fine but nothing happens. No charge. Why won’t MagSafe charger work with brand new iPhone 12 Pro?

Is there another charger and power source to try? If so, does this only happen with the MagSafe charger? Try the applicable steps from If your iPhone or iPod touch won't charge, then test for the issue again.

Same issue! iPhone 12 Mini not charging on MagSafe after working previously. Hard reset didn’t work and I’m on iOS 4.3 already
Mine charges backwards. Put it on at 72% and now it’s at 63% without usage

Same here - my phone is not charging thru MagSafe. I’m using iPhone 12 Pro on iOS 14.3. The restart solution is not working for me. Charging only works thru lightning port.
Yup. Worked for me too, but no longer. Same OS.
Cannot get it to work. Got latest iOS and tried resetting the phone in many different ways. Still no joy. Can anyone from apple pitch in on this?

Did this Saturday. Magsafe worked from Saturday until today. No longer working. This is irritating.

What do you mean by 12.4, do you mean 14.4 on the iPhone 12 Pro ?
My IPhone 12 will not charge again on the mag charger. My software is up to date 14.4
