iPhone 12 pro not charging with MagSafe charger

But I should not have to do this every other day. Apple needs to fix this. I pay way too much money for this phone for these issues!

Exactly. I have the same problem. Restarting the phone every other day just to wireless charge on a $1200+ phone is ridiculous!!!

Agree. I wonder if Apple knows the cause and has a fix plan?

It’s really annoying and restarting every other day isn’t an exaggeration.

I have hard restarted my phone several times. Doesn’t fix the problem anymore.

Thank you @Griff1026! I had this same issue and followed your advice. I’m not sure why, but it worked. Magsafe charging on my 12 pro max working as expected once again.

Work great for me!!! Didn’t even need to remove my case!!

I am still having this issue on Iphone 12 pro and ios14.4. Every week or so, I have to reboot the phone for the charging to work.

The annoying thing is, I replaced my Anker wireless charger with a magsafe thinking that would fix it. $60 and a week later the same thing happened.

Rest works for me. I had same issue with my iPhone12pro with latest iOS. I reset and now it works. Not only was the MagSafe charger bit charging, none of my other wireless chargers were working either. This is the second time this has happened to me. Reset works as fix, for now.

I have the same problem with my 12 pro Max.

I’m running 14.2 using the 20w MagSafe charger and clear iPhone magnetic case.

it worked fine for 2 days and now it won’t work at all. The lighting connector will charge though.

I've rebooted the phone several times and nothing helps.

Same issue here with my 12 Mini - the volume up, down, left button hold combination works for me (with case on) but only for a few days and then the problem starts again. I've updated to the latest iOS. Woke up this morning to a dead phone and hoping this gets fixed...

The steps work - but I still can't use a case and charge via magSafe.

There are worse things in life, but we all paid top dollar for this phone. We should loose functionality from iPhone X (with the same case) has available
