Pulse Secure VPN Crashing my MacBook Pro?

I downloaded the pulse secure vpn to access my universities library databases, but since downloading it I am frequently getting the black screen of death and it is making me nervous because I don't want to damage my computer. I ran EtreCheck and have the results. I don't know what to do but if anyone could help me that would be great!

An app that crashes won't damage your Mac.

Limited drive access - More information may be available with Full Drive Access.

 ...

Diagnostics Information (past 7-30 days):
  Directory /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports is not accessible.
Enable Full Drive Access to see more information.

Granting EtreCheck Full Disk Access will reveal the crash reports, which are relevant to your question. You can always revoke it later.

Backup:
  Time Machine Not Configured!

That means you won't mind if you lose all the information on that Mac. If you don't agree with that assessment then turn it on: Back up your files with Time Machine on Mac.

User Login Items:
[Not Loaded] AdwareHelper (App Store - installed 2020-09-22)
    Modern Login Item
    /Applications/Antivirus Zap.app/Contents/Library/LoginItems/AdwareHelper.app

It's not related to your question but those things are useless. Just get rid of it.
