iPhone 12 Pro speaker audio issues

I have had some unusual audio issues. Saturday morning 10/24/20, not even 24 hours of owning the phone, the speakers had reverb, static, pops and random buzzing. I did a screen recording and posted on YouTube. However the sound was mot syncing with the video. Perhaps a software issue but the sound does not seem as good as it was on my 11 Pro. I upgraded to give my mom my 11 Pro so if I return I’m phoneless during any repair or send off diagnostic. Very disappointed to say the least.

Any thoughts are welcome.

Sorry for my delay but I’ve been in contact with Apple support. I’m still collecting data for them on my device and I have come to the conclusion personally that this is a software issue and may be related to mag safe. I understand it is very frustrating for us all but hang in there there will be a solution hopefully soon.

My 12 Pro Max did the same thing right out of the box, echoing from the keyboard, distortion from the speaker trying to play music, then not being able to control the volume of the music or sound from the settings audio controls, but sometimes it will work fine, the audio is not near as loud as on my 11 Pro Max so it’s definitely an issue with the phone

Same thing. I had bought an iPad Air on the day it had launched and realized the same thing with it too.I returned the device and then found online that this issue has been persistent since a long long time in many other Apple devices. Today I bought an apple iPhone 12 mini and it has the same issue. I am pretty sure it is a software issue. Until now I was using an iPhone 6 and it works flawlessly.

I have tried reaching out to Apple customer service a couple of times and I have also posted in the bugs section regarding the same but I haven’t found any solutions yet. Hope they fix it sometime soon.

On my end, i received a phone call (with my new iPhone 12 mini) when my phone was on my ear and the ringing (Signal) was at maximum. I ended-up getting instantly serious ear damage as the ringing was sooo loud I dropped my phone on the floor and started earing permanent buzzing (Tinnitus) in my ear. It's been 3 days now and buzzing is still there. Ear speaker is WAY too loud and I never experience such a painful event with previous iPhone (1, 4, 5S, 8). I don't see any reason why the ring should be driven by anything else then the bottom speaker. Went to an Audiologist and they noticed a 25db loss in left ear.
