You weren't charged because your phone was defective, you were charged because you decided to have them replace it and required that they ship you a new phone express shipping.

The setup as new phone solved the issue with the lock sound that sounds weird when you plug in a magsafe accessory on the phone, but it did not solve the issues with the system sound volume variation, it even occurs in the phone setup screens, so definetely software as it also happens on the iPad Air 4 while typing.

Happening again with my replacement phone on day 5! Is Apple providing any type of support or resolution for this issue?

After the last 5 years on Android, I'm starting to regret the switch to iPhone.

Yes I am very upset with this especially considering how much his phone cost this is a complete down grade there are time where I have to restart my phone because my speakers will not work and I had not even had a phone for 24 hours when it started i’m really going to go buy a Android 👁👄👁

I also have this issue and it’s driving me nuts! It’s not even a consistent problem. On insta stories for example one is okay and the next from the same person the sound is dreadful. Pleas hurry up and fix. I’ve only had the phone a week and I’m disappointed.

I’m having the same issue with my iPhone 12! I’ve had for 2 weeks, my husband and I purchased ours the same day. He had an audio issue first with static and popping noise. Now it’s happening with mine. The audio shut completely, and when it returned about 5 mins later after doing a restart it returned with static and popping noises. Definitely a disappointment to be having this issue so soon considering the cost!

I have the same issue sometimes i get an audio alert sometimes not. The ringer volume is all the way up it starts out loud then goes down until ringer stops but phone continues to vibrate. It started the other night when my text ringer started buzzing with static. Restarted phone and that worked for awhile but its back again. This is my first iphone since 8 just left my Samsung Note 10 plus for this. I hope the 12 does not make me sorry i went back to apple.

Apple made a very big mistake of sending me a survey about my new phone. Needless to say, my comment were not encouraging and every time I see a YouTube about how great it is, I comment. Evidently, these people must work for Apple. They didn’t like my comments either. Fact is, the new phone sucks. Worst one yet. I am stuck with a Phone that is subpar. When it comes time for an upgrade, I will rethink this.

Hello Apple, I’m from Malaysia. Actually i had this kind of audio and speaker problem which is the audio mic sometimes detect and sometimes not. Its really bad. I hope Apple notice me wether this is a software problem or hardware problem. Im so sad Apple, i buy in Malaysia almost RM5k but this problem happen.

They will not be able to help. The problems I am having I believe are changes the Apple has made to their system. I still can’t hear thru my Bluetooth which is a major problem. This will probably be the last Apple I purchase.

I have given up on getting mine fixed. I am on the second phone. I now have purchased an IPod for my exercise use to listen to music with. Can’t hear thru my phone. I will be moving to Android next time. Done with Apple products. They have gotten too big for their own britches and don’t care that their products have gone down hill.
