Why am I getting "hp device monitoring framework will damage your computer" warning popup?

It seems that hundreds of people including me using an HP printer just started getting this message over the last few days.


Is it Apple, is it HP, the user doesn't know!

This is due to an outdated signing signature on the HP software.
