Here is what I heard back from Resound. Let me know if any of this helps you.
Good day Lawrence,
Thank you for contacting ReSound.
I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with your new phone. Apple has just released the new iPhone 12 so we can now begin testing for compatibility with ReSound hearing aids as well as our apps. As the iPhone 12 is a newer device and not yet officially compatible, I do not have a lot to go on yet.
You can try a reset of your network settings as this can improve and often resolve many connectivity and streaming issues. If this does not alleviate the issue, I encourage you to contact Apple Accessibility at 877-204-3930
Here are the steps to reset network settings:
Please note: Resetting the network settings may cause the mobile device to forget saved Wi-Fi passwords. * No content or data will be lost.
If you take advantage of one of the ReSound apps, you will need to completely close the app out by swiping it away and then relaunch it to allow it to import the information from the fresh pairing.

Here’s a recently updated Apple article related to problems with the iPhone 12 and hearing aids "Apple is aware of this issue and will provide a fix in a future software update."
If your Made for iPhone hearing device has sound quality issues when connected to an iPhone 12 model
You have to do an update check and it will show up then
Next time this happens... turn off the watch. This should partially fix the issue. Your iPhone should be able to see any Bluetooth device again.
I just purchased the 12 Pro Max, left Resound HA keeps dropping out. Although, it only happens when the phone is within 4-5 feet of my HA’s. If I leave it on my desk and walk away it stays connected with no issues. I realize this is not good for phone calls, but when streaming music I can set the phone on a shelf about 6-10 feet away and it works great. It made me wonder if it was something like the iPhone 5’s when the antenna was along the bezel and caused signal issues. Hoping they get it fixed, without it, I can’t take phone calls.
Please do contact ReSound. Hopefully they prioritize higher if more of us contact them with the same problem.
I'm also hoping the iOS 14.2 that comes out early in November will have a fix for this issue. I didn't see anything specific in the bug fixes related to bluetooth, but I'm still hoping that will have a fix for us.
Same story all over.. We were too quick with the iPhone12. The app developers need to catchup, and it is not unusual that there are bugs.. unfortunately were too comfortable and who knew just because it was a new piece of hardware the iOS which had been fine would be negatively impacted. So... we wait I guess.
I am. I use my work iPhone 8 running iOS 14.1 and have no issue. My iPhone 12 Pro also running iOS 14.1 will intermittently drop either the left or right hearing aid connection. The connection will restore and then one will drop again. The time between drops will vary.
My hearing aids are Oticon and I am having Bluetooth issues with my iPhone 12. Did not have issues with iPhone 6. It is not aids, it’s the iPhone.
I just got the iPhone 12 and it is an utter mess with my resound compatibility. I went to my hearing aid center and it had the same problem with Phillips.
I have the Rexton HA and have horrible loud static 50% of the time when streaming from my new iPhone 12 Pro. Costco said that Apple is aware of the problem.
I updated the lastest software version and now my Bluetooth keeps dropping connection with my AirPods and Mercedes airplay.
Same thing happened to me. I plan to contact resound tomorrow. I am sorry this happened but I admit that it is good to know there is not something wrong with my phone in particular and something systematic with the connection between the hearing aids and the phone. Gives me hope it can be fixed.
I do not have a minimic, just directly paired phone with resounds. I don’t even know what that is honestly. Its a bummer but I’m sure they’ll figure it out. What’s strange is if I turn off the right ha, the left picks up and works just fine.
I purchased a new Iphone 12 pro. I was able to transfer all my apps, including Resound Smart 3D. My problem is the phone will not pair to the hearing aids, it can't find them. The phone I had 7S worked fine but now the hearing aides will not work with the Iphone 12. Now I can't hear the phone ring, nor the persons voice if I answer. Not good please fix this Bluetooth problem soon.
The last week I have had to disconnect my device on my car with my iPhone 12. Within 5mins of driving it would constantly drop from car to speaker to phone.
Then I used my ear pods and it did the same again. I deleted device reconnected it didn’t make a difference. Tried turning my phone off and that didn’t make a difference either. iPhone 12 must have issues with connection with Bluetooth.
Does anyone else experience the same or similar?
