Iphone Xr Icloud activation Lock

Hey everyone, Recently , I bought an used iPhone Xr online from olx.com.pk . I paid the seller 1lac pkr for this device and he told me that the idevice is still in apple warranty. The phone was actually off that time because of 0% battery however, he assured me that the phone will be replaced if you find any problem. After charging the iPhone xr ,I start it but unfortunately , I stucked on activation lock . I contacted the seller but his phone is off .

Now, I am stuck on activation lock but I checked by serial number that the device is still in warranty. I check the device statues and it was in lost mode and it is blacklisted ,

Please tell me what I can do to overcome this problem. Is it possible to unlock it?

Thanks for those additional details.

To remove Activation Lock from the iPhone, you will want to continue working with the seller in order to proceed with the steps here: How to remove Activation Lock

Specifically, this section may help:

"If the previous owner isn't with you

If the previous owner isn't present, contact them and ask them to remove the device from their account:

Sign in to iCloud.com with their Apple ID.
Go to Find My iPhone.
Click All Devices at the top of the screen.
Select the device that you want to remove from iCloud.
Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.
Click Remove from Account.

After the previous owner removes the device from their account, turn off the device and then turn it back on to begin the setup process."

Thanks for replying . I have one more question .Since I purchased the device from second owner of iphone xr, not the actual first owner and second owner after selling me is not giving me any details. Is there any possible way to find the real owner of this device? So that I could pay him some money and find the icloud activation Id and password??
