iPhone 12 w/ iOS 14.1 poor hearing aid connectivity

I too updated to 14.3 PB2 and immediately noticed I had NO STATIC whereas with 14.2 I would have experienced static with an incoming call, incoming text message with "Play System Sounds" turned on in Hearing Devices. Also when opening apps like Alexa or Netflix. I'll report back later to give an update, but so far so good :)

Same issue with my widex hearing aids when the phone would ring and answered noise was horrible and one hearing aid would drop out. Resolution none bandaid fix turn the ringer off or phone to silent still rings in my aids but no drop out or static waiting for a permanent fix

My hearing aids are COSTCO. I’ve come to understand this is likely an Apple problem not so much brand related. I had great problems with earlier iOS updates. Now with 14.4 the sound is quite good but it does drop Bluetooth in a single ear once in awhile.

The hearing aid Bluetooth noise problem is an IPhone 12 IOS problem. I call Apple regularly , they know the problem but do not seem to be doing anything about it. The issue had been there for MONTHS! and is having a very negative impact on users quality of life....

If everyone who is having this issue would call Apple support and press the issue, perhaps they would fix it!!!!!!

It’s available now type in IOS beta profile register your phone download the profile go to your settings install the profile. It will ask you to reboot your phone then check for updates 14.5 should be there

This is an ongoing Iphone 12 software issue and Apple doesn't seem to care. I have been calling them for months about the same issue and all I get is our engineers are working on it.Thje only way this issue is going to get the attention it requires is if enough users call Apple at 877 204 3930. Tell them how it is affecting the quality of your life and that it needs to be resolved.

I downloaded 14.4 yesterday and it did not fix the issue

This issue has been going on since the first IPhone 12 was sold.

Apple doesn’t seem to care about the problems this issue is causing.

Thd only way this issue will be resolved is if enough users complain.

I have exactly the same issue with the same aids. Turning off system sounds on the iPhone 12 pro helps minimally.

It’s actually Accessibility > audio/visual then switch to mono!

Same here. Updated to beta sf 14.3 and saw big improvement but it is far from fixed.

I've been running iOS Beta 14.3 PB2 for two weeks with absolutely no problem as outlined in this thread of complaints....

The RC for 14.3 seems to have fixed the static issues with my iPhone 11 and Widex hearing aids.
