iPhone 12 OLED Screen Issue

Did I mentioned yesterday that my new 4. iPhone 12 Pro has another defect?

I was wondering yesterday what "clicky-sound" my new F17... iPhone 12 Pro does. I found out that the Taptic Engine seems to be broken. Everytime there is a Taptic-Feedback on the iPhone, the Taptic Engine makes an metal-click-sound. Seems like the magnet collides with the housing...

So the iPhone 12 Pro from the factory F17 is the worst one of all 4 iPhone 12 Pro!

Hello, guys. Can you tell me if my iphone has this problem? I can see it with my bare eyes, but some people say that everything is okay with the screen. In reality is a bit more bad, because my camera's quality is bad.

Congratulations!! I hope it really doesnt have the issue, or the issue doesnt arise after a few days. Are you sure you dont have it? I remember you saying that all screens have this issue, only at different levels. Let us know how it is.

YES!! Coz it affected my work today. I can't receive calls and iI supposed to have some work meetings but unfortunately I can't call them because my phone is not working now because they reset it earlier!

But if Apple want's to prevent the OLED from smearing why don't they implement that "feature" also for iPhone 12 (not Pro), iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone XS and iPhone X?

Because from my point of view it makes no sense to implement "green flickering / green tint" to prevent smearing only on the iPhone 12 Pro...

I don’t see that , but I will test again when I get home. I have a trained eye for changes or defects , but I could overlook it. I bet this panel it’s not Samsung , but who cares because looks better than my 12 PM.

Yes, please do, this would be a very important point. If you see any pink or purple smearing in settings app please let us know. Normally I don’t see any smearing except if it is below 70 percent. On all brightness levels other than 70- 100 percent, scrolling doesn’t produce even a hint of pink which is smearing. My screen has perfect blacks without even flickering in videos between 70-100 percent brightness and shows pink smearing in settings.

probably XD I still got the link tho. Weird if its like that for real. I registered my iphone for service Ill see how it goes probably they will tell me theres no problem at all then ill bring it again and again if that does not work I guess theres no other opportunity but to sell the phone and lose money by doing that. If I have to do it i wont be buying iphones any time soon thats for sure :)

guys so even iOS 14.4 beta 2 fixes the yellow green tint problems? however, despite my complaints, the iPhone was not replaced in the Apple store or after calling Apple assistance for two months .. both in the store and online they do a simple software diagnosis .. why some of the device is it replaced and others not? everyone just told me to wait

F17 , not sure if iPhone 12 and pro lineup share the same display components like controller boards etc. I think there was a reason why apple waited until November to ship the PM and Mini. I doubt there is any pro models with normal black levels out there

Could you elaborate on that a little after you’ve done your testing? In what aspect exactly did the iOS beta lessen the flickering issue and did you test it with the same device that with the older firmware showed flickering to a greater extent?

What production week are they? And do they still show a green tint at lower brightness levels?

guys someone with their Iphone with yellow tint has tried ios 14.4 beta 2? has something changed? I know that the problem of the green tint on a dark background remains, is there any news for the yellow tint?

Aaaand... my G6 iPhone 12 Pro replacement is back to what it was with raised blacks or blinking screen (can’t seem to get a pattern) after 3 days of usage. For a price that Apple asks for this device in Europe, I am disappointed in such a lack of quality assurance, to say least.

Since it’s such a wide spread issue and still happens to newly bought or replaced devices I think Apple has to take care of it. Maybe it’s really software.

Which week of production is your replacement device?

So guys i think there will be a replacement program after one year of shipping the defective iPhones, i just got my AirPods Pro replaced because of a hardware defect that i didn’t know about but got to know yesterday from Zollotech. My noise cancellation is not as good as it was before, i didn’t really pay attention but now that i hear, its quite evident and apple started a replacement program after a year of introducing the AirPods Pro saying that all the models shipped until one year could have a hardware issue and the replacement program for it exists. It’s a pity that the replacement program is so hidden away from us. Why don’t they make it public enough. Pity!

I am really starting to lose faith in apple. I was a die hard fan of apple and now its beginning to change.
