With ALL iPhone launches you won't get see a status change until the last two days, when it goes from processing, to preparing to ship, to shipped. It all happens rather quickly. Rest assured if Apple told you your phone is coming on Friday, you'll get it Friday.

What makes no sense to you? You are evidently responding to me and the last thing I said in this thread is:

1. Apple isn't here
2. We don't know about stock of phones

This means this forum is user to user only. Apple does not participate here, so they will not answer your question. As users, we couldn't possibly know anything about Apple supply chain.

If this doesn't address what doesn't make sense to you, please clarify.

I’m having issues with my order. But that’s typical FedEx in my area.

i preordered the day the phone went up through att. My “scheduled” delivery was supposed to be yesterday (Nov 13th) launch day by 8pm.

now my delivery status went from scheduled delivery to pending.

so, I have no clue what that means? Since it states “no schedule delivery available at this time”

once again FedEx drops the ball. The phone is literally at a hub less than 5 miles away. Terrible.

Ordered mine on Nov 13th and only on Nov 22nd it changed the status from “processing” to “preparing to ship” - I mean, how long does it really takes to process? Well, it’s still within the original ETA so that’s fine - hopefully the status changes to “shipped” in the next few days.

I placed my order, iPhone 12 pro max Pacific Blue, on November 6. Finally, I received the tracking number on November 20 (China 11/20). It's November 24 today and still shows "Clearance in Progress." I should drive 50 miles to pick it up at the Apple store on November 13. I hate it shipped from China, so far away.

So after three days stuck on “preparing to ship”, the order just now changed its status to “shipped”. I also received the dispatch notification e-mail with shipping details but can’t see anything just yet, I think it will take a few hours for the tracking info to be registered within the carrier system. Funny thing is that Apple Store still says it will be delivered between Dec 1st and Dec 8th, however the dispatch notification e-mail says it will be delivered on Nov 27th.

Anyone can say don't worry about your iPhone that you just paid a large sum of money on. Until you have it in your hand. I worry. 1200.00 is a lot of money to spend. My has been stuck for quite sometime in Chinese customs. I am getting quite ****** at this whole crap show. I am suppose to get it this Thursday. And its still stuck in a clearing center? Wtf. I guess they had better figure it out.

My experience with Apple shipping is that their expected arrival date is quite accurate. I recently ordered the new IPad Air, with an anticipated arrival date of October 29 .... it arrived on October 29 (also in Canada). Keep an eye out for an email announcing that it has shipped, then use the tracking info.

My notice was almost a week prior to arrival, but I live in a very rural area. Mine actually shipped from Ontario to New Brunswick, to Newfoundland within a day,..... it then took 5 extra days to arrive at my house. If you live in a larger town, or city, shipping is far more efficient.

You're welcome. Enjoy your new phone! I'm picking mine up at my Apple store on Saturday at 2:00 PM. I can have them install a screen protector on it before I ever turn it on. I have cases all ready to put it in and then I'll set it up at home.

Yes you will if there are no unforeseen shipping delays. But you also won't get it early. Mine is sitting 13 miles away but with big red letters it tells me it will only be delivered on the date specified by the shipper.

Same here, Preordered on the 6th, given delivery date of between 13th and 23rd, which then turned in to the 23rd to 30th and is now stated as the 30th. Tech sites now reporting Apple has supply issues and delivery dates are slipping back a lot. Fairly unacceptable for Apple to be selling equipment they don’t have after all the hype they put into pushing this to the customer base. It would be nice to hear from Apple that they are letting customers down rather than read it in the press. My order has sat “processing” for a week now, it’s the 21st century and surely processing doesn’t take a week, it sounds more like “we don’t have stock and we’re waiting for units to become available so we’ll just leave you guessing!!!”

Did you happen to get a status update on your shipping? Mine still says preparing for shipping (has not arrived at UPS). But still stays arriving Nov 13. Its the 12th now, so with 2 day air, I don’t see how that’s possible...

Yes I too ordered on launch day at 6 am AZ time. My order status still says preparing to ship and says it will arrive on Friday the 13th. No updates yet and it is the 12th today. I truly hope I get my mini and 12 Pro Max tomorrow! Fingers crossed.

You can go to the UPS website and go to track a package, then go to track by reference number. Type in your full phone number associated with the purchase and it will show up. I did that and added the shipment to my UPS account. I can see full updates on tracking. The last update I can see now is that it left Alaska at 2:35 AM on 11/11/2020.

I suspect they will arrive at sorting facilities today and be send to local facilities by tomorrow morning to be put on trucks for delivery.
