My iPhone 12 keeps asking for email password

Having the same problem and it’s incredibly frustrating!

I have the very same Issue! I have 2 Hotmail email accounts using the mail app. Both keep randomly asking me to enter their passwords.

That seems like we are idiots. Try closing and opening and deleting accounts and again and again.

i have done it 3 times . IOS obviously needs to solve this.

Yes, but i think you will very soon. Every time i am without password requests for few days i get cheered up, but then ..... again!!!

Battery is getting drained like never before and customer services do not have a clue.....@ios14.2

It’s making me insane. It’s only affecting my Hotmail accounts - gmail, iCloud emails are fine and only happened with the last 2 iOS versions. I’ve reported it as a bug - seriously this is crazy

Me too on both iPhone X and my iPad. Only since ios14 issued, thought had been fixed with update but started again.

I also have this issue and its annoying af! We need a fix ASAP!

At the bottom of the screen there’s a black bar that says following - you can toggle it off. No guarantee that it will actually do anything! This is the weirdest kind of chat!

Had the same on my iPhone and iPad. Deleted my Hotmail account, then added it again from the ‘other’ section instead of outlook. Hasn’t asked for password since

Oh yes me too. Had to reset the keyboard dictionary to fix that. Worked for a month and now it’s doing it again 🙄.
