My iPhone 12 keeps asking for email password

I can’t believe we have all purchased $1000+ phones and can’t even get any support with the crappy camera that was touted to be the BEST!! or this email issue. I was much happier with my iPhonex I would seriously consider switching carriers at this point to get rid of this phone! Very poor design team apple! And I have checked with my email providers and they are all telling us this issue is new to ios14!!!

I don’t follow how this would help. The issue is iOS dropping the login status of an Outlook account. Removing the very app(s) that aid in logging into those services doesn’t fix that problem, and also makes it harder to log in securely.

Never had the issue with my iPhone 8 Plus but when I upgraded to the iPhone 12 Pro Max and it asks for my emails, I have multiple, all the time. It’s quite annoying. Hopefully they’ll fix it soon with an update.

This is completely false, that it isn’t an iOS issue. I can access my email account on safari and the password works fine. It absolutely is iOS issue and Apple need to fix this. Since my phone updated to iOS 14.4 I’ve had this issue. My daughter with the exact same phone and email with the same provider, is not having these issues since she installs the updates manually.

I totally agree with everything you have stated. However, I have a question regarding your daughter’s manual updates. Are you saying the content(s) of the update is exactly the same but she simply performs the update herself on the iPhone?

She does co trio the updates and chooses to update or not. She has not installed the newest update as of now. She probably won’t until the next one when there is a fix for this issue. It’s an absolute irritating issue right now, cause I use outlook for my work and school email and use the iOS email for my personal email and now have to log into AOL on safari every time I want to check my email.

Are you saying that for my 9 email accounts that are setup as imap. If I set them up as Exchange accounts I will not continue to be prompted daily for these passwords? I have an iPhone XR iOS 14.4.2

Please also note, I am not using the iPhone mail app, I am using Outlook for O365

I had my att mail account tell me no password deleted account changed password still doesn’t work now my aol mail account is doing the same thing but if I go through safari I can log into both accounts

This IS an iOS issue. It began with ios14 and is still not rectified.

I have the same issue. Been like this for since updating to iOS 14 and only with my hotmail account not my work one.

What, you can’t believe your devices which are either not Apple, or not iOS 14 DON’T have the problem? Baffled.

Me as well. My Desktop mail is fine.

iPad and iPhone are not.
