HP Photosmart 5520 Printer Scan software not working with OS 10.15.

Just tried scanning with HP Photosmart 5520 and comes up with "HPDeviceModel.framework" will damage your computer, followed by 4/5 similar messages. Printer part works fine but can't scan. Same massage on my wife's Mac. Any suggestions - should I delete all the files in Frameworks folder?

Go to the support website of HP and install the new driver

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Photosmart-5520-e-All-in-One-Printer/5157533/model/5157535

If necessary, Go to SystemPreferences, Printers and scanners. Remove the printer and install it again.

Your printer also supports AirPrint. You could use this alternative and install it again, using apple's AirPrint https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201311

You can also use Image Capture to scan
