Subtitles on Apple TV App

Hi, so I updated to MacOS Big Sur and now when I watch anything on the Apple TV app there are subtitles. Where I turned the subtitles off before it was in the bottom right corner you click on a little box and you could turn them off but now that box only has the audio in it and nothing related to subtitles. It's really frustrating because on some of the shows the subtitles are huge and are really distracting. Maybe I have a setting turned on some where else but I don't think so. There is also nothing mentioning closed captions or subtitles in the apple tv app preferences section. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I figured it out actually. In settings > accessibility > captions > prefer closed captions and SDH was accidentally checked to on.
