After Big Sur update, deleted mail and junk mail disappeared from view

I've had the same question, after updating my iMac and MacBook Air. May deleted and junk folders disappeared.

I wanted to ask if anyone else is now getting more SPAM than ever before? I would average a few a day but this morning my folder had 127 and been like this since the upgrade to Big Sur.
