FaceTime and iMessage weird.

OK. This is strange. Just noticed this today.

I am getting text messages to my Facetime app on the iMac. Not all. Just some.

Checked all my settings on iMac and iPhone. All appears to be normal.

Signed out of Messages on both devices, same.

I should mention that on my iPhone, I'm getting everything as expected. This problem is only occurring on the iMac.

Any suggestions?

I did not notice this occurring before upgrading to Big Sur.

iPhone Xr

iOS 14.2

iMac 2020

Big Sur 11.0.1

Hello silvasp and welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears you are having some difficulty getting some text messages on your Mac.

It sounds like you need to enable text message forwarding on the iPhone.

Thanks. Made the recommended adjustments and will try it out. I suppose this happened because I didn't authorize my new iMac... Thanks for the info.
