I bought my iPhone from the T-Mobile retailer, mine was manufactured during the 2nd week of December and I received it and saw that the contrast and the screen had a overall yellow tint. Instantly got annoyed about it, but kept thinking about it and decided to order one from Apple directly. I received it today and it seems like the new one is a lot better, the contrast and the grays and blacks look a lot darker. However, the white is still a bit warm, but is a very minor problem now. I think Apple might be fixing it slowly through the manufacturing process. I would recommend to exchange or return and purchase it again to get a different batch and try your luck

Yes, done that. No response. Complained bitterly over the phone too. No response. No acceptance, no denial. “I’m not aware of that issue sir”. The tone has changed. Initially they knew it was an issue, more open about it. As the weeks go on they’ve pleaded ignorance of the fact. More time, less knowledge.

that sounds like a policy. That sounds like a briefing to tell the agents to just act ignorant. Because they all respond the same way now. You decide.

They ain’t gonna fix it. iPhone 13 will hail the most accurate display ever. Maybe they made it this way to boost iPhone 13 sales next year. Good knows.

What I don’t get lobster is what you are doing in this thread. You don’t see an issue so aren’t going to be offering solutions. Your view is valid of course, but it’s a difference between like and accuracy.

My view is that if they sell a product claiming high accuracy, it should be.

However, Ive concluded I not longer have True Tone and that this will never be fixed so I should bugger off too.

LOL....Steve Jobs was no saint. You don't recall, "you're holding it wrong?"

I'm here on this thread, to show that people can find the tone on their screen pleasant. If you're suggesting I can only be here if I'm unhappy, that would be censoring people and unless you own the forum, you can't do that of course.

People who come to this thread should be able to see views from people like yourself who have a valid concern to views from people like me who are perfectly fine with their iPhone screen.

Apple calls this shortcoming "a feature". Sharing that with other users is commiserating. Some may find a solution, though with it being a hardware issue, there's not going to be one now, we know.

You say commiserating does nothing. Neither does being a fanboi on a forum for people who have issues with Apple and this particular device. Feel free to go to those other sites instead to cheer the company on. I don't see your input being helpful, sorry.

It's offensive to call me a fanboi because I don't dislike the color of the screen on my phone. Am I calling you names? Be more mature.

When you buy the forum, you can tell me what I can say and where I can say it. Until then you don't have the right to tell me where to go (though I'm sure I could read your mind after you read my response) or what I can say.

In return, I wouldn't dream of telling you stop complaining, moaning or whining. It just as I've said, won't get you anything.

It's also offensive to say this, and I quote, "you can commiserate if you want. Just don't expect that to deliver anything other to make you feel better if commiserating makes your day".

You don't have an issue with your iPhone 12. Correct? Then what are you doing here, help me understand.

Look at the title of this thread and then tell me you're responding to the point at hand? You're not. You love your yellow-tinted phone, good for you. The rest of us don't love it. We've complained to Apple, if you'd care to read the entire thread, and Apple doesn't care.

So you come here to say, that's too bad for you all, but I love my phone...is helpful, how exactly? It isn't.
