I bought my iPhone from the T-Mobile retailer, mine was manufactured during the 2nd week of December and I received it and saw that the contrast and the screen had a overall yellow tint. Instantly got annoyed about it, but kept thinking about it and decided to order one from Apple directly. I received it today and it seems like the new one is a lot better, the contrast and the grays and blacks look a lot darker. However, the white is still a bit warm, but is a very minor problem now. I think Apple might be fixing it slowly through the manufacturing process. I would recommend to exchange or return and purchase it again to get a different batch and try your luck

This is not a discussion board. This a Technical Support Forum for people to seek technical support from other users. This thread is not just for people who are unhappy with the tint on their screen. And there's nothing any user on this forum can do about the tint except to adjust it if they don't like the standard tint.

To suggest that ONLY people who are unhappy can participate here is beyond wrong. If you can't accept that some are not bothered about the tint on their screen, that's your problem. But you can't censor people because they don't agree with you any more than I can censor you for not agreeing with me.

When you buy the Forum AngryCowz, you can then moderate who is permitted to post. Until then, you'll have to accept not everyone will agree with you.

LOL. Read the terms of use you agreed to when you joined the forum, which actually defines what this forum is about. I've been here over 10 years. You've been here what a nano-second? And I'll be here far longer after you've gone back wherever you came from.

Since it's clear you've never read the TOU, here are they are for your reading pleasure: Apple Support Communities Use Agreement - Apple Community

Nothing personal either "man."

yes, we wish apple is here and paying attention. Probably anyone mocking us is Apple, because that is how I feel about how they’ve treated us over this issue.

I doubt the pro model is worse, just people who bought pro more likely to have high standards for accuracy/photography.

This is about accuracy, not about preference primarily. The view “I like pink whites” doesn’t take the discussion forward really.

in response to 3x, I will see if my TT off 12 is as bright and white as my old 10. I sold it to a friend. I think it is, but I’ve been reluctant to check in case it upsets me!

however, I did that check before I decided to sell the 10. So yes, I think with TT off there exist 12’s as clean as a 10.

True Tone itself is stuffed.

I will add one observation, even with TT off, I find the auto brightness aggressive. The sun came out on a skylight and I noticed the phone screen brighten disproportionately to the room and get really bright white.

I’m also convinced the video and pictures taken aren’t so good. Less saturated. The only thing better on the phone is night pictures.

Discuss away. Complain all you want. Won't change anything by doing so here. Especially since Apple isn't here, isn't reading your constant complaints and won't do anything because you complained.

But you cannot silence anyone who actually likes the tint on their phone. You don't belong to an exclusive hate club here, buddy.

I appreciate the concern. But I'm not the one whining and moaning and complaining like a child not getting his way. Look in the mirror for that.

The "Whole Forum" Really? This forum is far more widely used by people not complaining about the tint of their iPhone screen.

Why do YOU have such an issue with someone who isn't complaining about the tint on their screen. I didn't say you should you love it. Does it in some way effect your life that someone could be happy?

You don't own the forum. You don't own this thread. So you don't get to tell me what I can or can't say. Buy the forum, then you can. Until then, expect that I am just as entitled to post my thoughts as you are.

My point is I don't find the screen in any way objectionable. You won't get anything helpful here. No one here can change the tint on your phone except you of course. You can use settings to change the tint to your preference.

And that's the point of me being here. People coming to this thread should see not everyone thinks its objectionable and if they do, they can use settings as has been described in this thread to adjust the tint.

The notion that only people who don't like the tint are allowed to post here is childish.
