Streamlabs OBS Crashes On Every Launch After MacOS “Big Sur” Update

Since downloading and installing the newest MacOS update, I am now no longer able to live-stream or record any footage. Upon launch of Streamlabs OBS, the window pops up that shows everything starting up, but before you get to the screen where all your Scenes and Sources are, the whole thing crashes and you’re back to square one...

Is there a way to fix this? Or is there any kind of workaround? To make things worse, I don’t have an up-to-date backup, and if I delete SLOBS, I’m pretty sure all my tailored settings will be reset back to default, which I spent hours getting right when I first started using it...

So I found a work around. I deleted Stream Labs, and went into Go (In Finder) -> Library -> Application Support -> and deleted (slobs-client and slobs-plugins) Then I reached out to Streamlabs tech service and asked them to delete my cloud storage.

The problem is that with any widgets or internet based plug ins are causing it to crash and since StreamLabs automatically saves all of the information in the cloud it will relink and save those corrupted files back onto your computer, causing the crash. So unfortunately I lost all of the Scenes and couldn't use any widgets like Alert Box.

But I'm back up and running my stream, hit me up on Twitch: JonSlaps :)

To add onto the message above even though you hit the nail on the head I myself have even tried uninstalling/reinstalling SLOBS, restarting as I go, making sure I delete the data (troubleshooting basically) and I continue to get shut out of the app even upon a new reinstallation process!

Was hoping to stream while laying out some content this month so hopefully we can look forward to a fix soon? I even put In a ticket with Streamlabs themselves.
