iPhone 12 camera flicker on video recording

No se podria decir que es 100% corregido con una actualizaciòn de software porque se han enviado informes a Apple y podria sacar un programa de remplazo lote de moviles( como lo han hecho anteriormente) si no les funciona con software. Debido a que no solo es en las camaras sino en las pantallas que parpadean y pues ya eso a mi como profesional me hacer decir con propiedad que no lo solventan con un update. Voy a buscar la manera que me regresen mi dinero porque esto es INDIGNANTE en un equipo tan costoso y más para los que trabajamos con ediciòn, etc ya que prácticamente no se puede utilizar. Hoy voy a una Apple Store a plantear mi problema. Luego les contaré espero tener suerte..!

Same problem on my iPhone 12 mini. It flickers when I open videos in photos app. It looks like the video I just took is adjusting it’s brightness automatically. I am now on my second iPhone 12 mini and it has the same screen flickering issue. Could this be an issue with the camera or maybe the HDR feature?

same problem here with iphone 12 pro.

i switched off auto fps and it helped a bit with 60p video recording but it didn't solved the problem completely.

and the the slow motion still flickers extremely both on 120 & 240 fps...

i ask the same question like anyone else. should i return the phone or this can be fixed with an IOS update ?

That first video, wow that was bad. The second still has some shortcomings, especially with what appears to be dropped frames. In the start of the second you can still see the HDR effect trying to do its thing, but much less pronounced.

My wife has an 11 and I’ve put these phones side by side, it’s very upsetting how wrong they got it this time. The 60 FPS performance is far exceptional on the 11 vs the 12 pro.

If anyone at Apple is listening, please remove the gimmicks, take us back to when things simply worked, I feel like I’m using an Android.

I would like to provide and update since I thought replacement phone did not have same issue but after further testing it seems like it has the same exact video flickering issue.What I noticed is if you are recording while you walk or moving flickering occurs and more visible vs if you are just standing and recording without much movement

both recorded at the same time side by side on HD at 60 fps and all the camera settings are the same. I also attached the camera settings for more information

One thing that is glaringly apparent is the dropped frames in the 60 FPS on the 12. Once you pan past the TV it stutters and this is a software issue. I may need to do the same side by side with an 11 and my 12, the stuttering is not present on the 11. I’m not sure what Apple’s attempting to accomplish, but it’s not working in their favor for content creators.

i did update 14.3 for my iPhone 12 pro and it still flickering unless i change zoom for example 0.5 it stops but when i press x1 or x2 it starts flickering again

so sad as i am in Europe and cant even replaced it :(

Mine too, with the lights on and also in the daylight colors just bouncing and flickering. Photos are over exposed on the background. Screen has greenish tint... Never been so dissapointed with any iPhone that I have ever had. Hopefully apple care and will fix it.
