iMessage not working on iPhone 12 pro max

Just letting everyone know I had this issue where iMessage and FaceTime wasn’t working at all. I tried all troubleshoots possible even reset and than transfer data over again. If you recently upgraded phones make sure you sign out before you reset old phone. I didn’t do this just giving people a heads up. So back to the iMessage issue. Don’t worry it will activate in 24-48 hours on its own. Idk why Apple does it this way but they do, but it will turn on. I’ve had iPhones since the 4 and have never had this issue so I freaked out this time around. Just know it will come back and don’t worry. Have a good day everyone!

Well since I was in the dark about this I was randomly resetting network and restarting. Than one of those times it started working on its own. But it was because it had been 25 hrs for me.

I also have everything up and working now.

I had a port issue switching carriers that’s why I couldn’t receive calls!

Yes, very frustrating. By chance did you wait till everything was transferred from iCloud when on wifi? I’ve done this before and I had to completely reset and do an iCloud backup again.

Usually they said 24-48 hrs for it to be completely activated. Did the issue get resolved?

having issues activating iMessage. Keep having an error message, I rebooted the phone, switched on and off the iMessage but still not working.

Since Christmas Day? Yeah umm you may want to return that one and get yourself another iPhone. Could potentially be a software malfunction or some type of glitch.
