Mac mail flags not working - Big Sur
Since the Big Sur upgrade I can't flag emails. I use this facility a lot, so this is a real problem. Has anyone found a workaround?

Missing Flags in Column View
To see your email flags while using Column Layout:
Thank you. I've always used flags. I don't recall having to re-activate it after previous system updates.
Very nice to hear Daniel, I am glad the subject is successfully closed for you.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I depend on flags a lot and can't imagine why they hid them away!
skip that message from David. David followed post above...problem solved. Always helpful to read instructions.
I discovered also that you can right-click anywhere on that heading bar where "Subject" shows up -- you don't have to aim at Subject.
This is the best answer for all on Big Sur I think.
Thanks very much CDStowell😀
Thank you so much. For me it was very obscure. If not for your message, I'd still be looking. And, it's ridiculous that they haven't addressed this anywhere!
Tried that, no pop-up box where I could select "Flags". Why was this removed???
Ola_M, maybe you should start a new thread that's aimed at your problem, since it's different from the original question in this thread.
It was working fine until today. I did no upgrades today. What is wrong with Apple OS X app programmers. Is NOBODY checking their work?
Ah I see, yes unsure about that sorry.
thanks, problem resolved ! But BIG SUR was not necessary !!!
I don't think this is Big Sur. There is no "title section above the email titles".
Was having the same issue, so thank you @justinec16 for resolving the issue!
Perfect!!! Thank you so much!! I was going crazy wondering why they would eliminate this invaluable feature!
