How do I fix the problem where my screen glitches and flickers? I just downloaded the new macOS Big Sur update and my laptop has bee glitching since then.

You may also want to try an NVRAM reset.
Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac
We also recommend starting in safe mode. Sometimes just starting in this mode and then restarting normally can resolve issues like this:

I have the exact same issue on my MacBook Air early 2014 ever since upgrading to Big Sur. especially when playing video on Netflix and YouTube.
ok, brand new just unboxed IMAC 2021 and the video has waves. I replaced my working very well 7 year old IMAC and seriously regretting it!!!!
I have a MacBP 15" 2019 Big Sur 11.3.1 I had the flickering issue until I updated my Display Link to 1.4.0. For me that took care of it.

I got a Late 2015 15" Macbook Pro as well. Have you had any issues after installing Big Sur? and if so, did you get it back to normal?
