Converting Music to MP4

Hi there,

is there any way I can convert my MPEG (MP3) songs in Music on my iMac (macOS Catalina, Version 10.15.7) to MP4 format?

how do i convert an mp4 audio file and burn it on a cd and play it on a regular stereo CD player I burned an mp4 track on a CD and can play it on my Mac with no problem but when I tried to play it on a regular home stereo CD player, it didn't work. Do I need to convert the mp4 file into some other format for it to play on a regular audio, stereo CD?
